SMR, or Small Modular Reactor, is a class of nuclear reactors designed on a smaller scale compared to traditional large reactors. They typically generate electricity in the range of tens to hundreds of megawatts. 

What sets SMRs apart is their modular design, enhanced safety features, and flexibility in deployment. SD ENG is participating in the design project from the initial stage of SMR development by overseas client and carried out basic design of major structures, seismic analysis of structures for standard design and structural safety evaluation against extreme environmental conditions.

SD ENG is involved in the project for the construction of a research reactor plant by conducting civil/structural design including seismic SSI analysis, in strict adherence to contemporary licensing requirements and technical standards to ensure nuclear safety.

SD ENG is offering on-site field engineering services to address construction-related challenges during the construction phase.
